This page is for all of you to share your thoughts and photos of your very own 'Pecan Place Aussiedoodle'. I have been slow in the past in posting everybody but I do so love and appreciate the updates. Keep them coming and I'll work on getting faster at posting them!
So very, very proud of my girl 'Pecan Place Debbie Reynolds' and her new owner/trainer Mary. Also trainer JR (featured in video)
I wanted to let you know that our Ella (from the Oct 2012 mini litter I think Gigi was the moms name and maybe Carry Grant was dad?) is featured in a May article in Fitness magazine! We love Ella and she turns heads everyday when we are in the parks around NYC!
.Hi Joyce, I hope all is well with you and your family. I wanted to let you know what is going on with Kendall at her 6 month check. She is Great! She has the best temperament and goes full speed, and I do remember you saying they will know who you are, well she is so attached to me even though our house is always full of kids and adults my trainer said I have spoiled her and I said that is what she is for, she listens when she is told to settle down, but she does have a voice and Callie at 4yrs never uses her voice so that it is new for us, so she has to sit and calm down before we start, I love her so much. She is beautiful! At her first real groom we clipped her face(not a fan, we are letting it grow back.) but that is the poodle for sure. She loves outdoors, loves the wind blowing in her face, her fur is long and beautiful and she is so easy to brush she loves it. She is now 16lbs wow, you would never know by looking at her, she at last check is 16" her legs are so long and lean. We had a slight set back she fractured her 3rd toe under the supervision of my husband. After 7 weeks of limited freedom and 4 x-rays we are healed. Finally, so we will continue on the agility path, she has such drive and is so smart that I am sure it will go smoothly with a lot of fun and practice. I hope to be in the ring next fall. I am looking at getting her spayed do you think she is old enough or should I wait? We for sure want another puppy down the road but you are the path we will for sure go again. I think I read you broke your foot? I hope you are OK and you are healing. I still pull up your web site every week and will look forward to watching the puppies that arrive. I will forward you a picture of her my friend sent after she groomed her. Thank-You,
A pic of Dood.....all 28 lbs of him. I chose this picture so you could see his size. I've lost 20 lbs...just trying to keep up with him. The entire neighborhood loves him. His puppy cut is only for the summer. My preference is the natural look but he gets so hot. He will be neutered on the 3rd. I wish I could have a dozen just like him. Remember we want a rust in a year or so. Thanks again for giving us the love of our lives.
We bought Seamus from you almost 2yrs ago now. He was Liz/Hershey boy first litter. I have attached two photos taht were taken about two months ago so you can see how beautiful he is. His head has gone even lighter now, like a silvery grey - very unique. We absolutely adore Seamus and he is such a fantastic temperment and an so full of love. I am always looking at your wensite and was very excited to see you now exported the aussies to the UK. I am Irish and spent 10 years living in the UK where I met my husband who is English and our kids were born there so we were very excited to see you share thise breed there.
My parents moved in to our house for 10 days while we recently travelled to California for my daughter to compete in national championships. Clearly the loved Seamus beforehand but since then they have fallen head over heals in love and want one of their own. My mum is in remission for cancer and they live in a condo where they just changed the rules to allow pets. They are soo excited. Their excitemment was doubled when we looked at your site and saw a planned breeeding of minitures for October! They will be out of the country at the time of the birth with little access to email so wil it be okay for me to chose and email you on their behalf and pay the deposit ? I will include all their information for the adoption. I also was confused as to where the first pics appear of the puppies - on the planned page of the available page ? Also, how do we know which day they are born and when photos appear ?
Hopefully you can guide me on some of these questions. So excited for Seamus to have a "cousin", especially an aussiedoodle as they have such easy going attitudes.
Hi Joyce, Just wanted to send you some pictures of our sweet boy, Nick, who we got from you on May 27, 2012 at your place in Illinois. Not sure if you remember, as it's been awhile. His mom is Eva and dad is Gerard - his birthdate is 4-2-12. Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much we love him and send some recent pictures. He goes to doggie daycare a few times a week and loves it! He is always getting attention from people on walks for his unusual markings and sweet disposition. He is such a joy and I want to thank you so much for breeding such wonderful dogs! I would have another, but hubby insists one dog and 2 cats are all we can handle :) Sincerely,
Our new boy is doing just great! He's sleeping through the night, eating/drinking/pooing/peeing well (these things are important!) and we couldn't be happier. He is so loving, playful and interested in everything. I've attached a picture of his first day at work, asleep at dad's keyboard. He is an absolute delight and we are in love!!
Still no name but the number one contender right now is Jackson (Jack) so we'll keep you posted.
Hi Joyce, Here's an update on Pecan Place Humphrey Bogart ( Bogi ). I've started him in agility & he absolutely loves it! He got 2 thirds in his first show last summer, without even going to classes. We're going to get serious about it & take some classes & see how far we can go. He's my little buddy,he turned out 15" & 15 lbs., but thinks he's a big boy! I'd love to get a blue merle female from you someday, but not quite ready. These dogs can do it all! From an Aussiedoodle lover, Marilyn
The boys are doing great! We just love them and enjoy them so much! Joey, at 7 1/2 months, weighed 21.1 lbs. when I weighed him at the vet this week. Riley, at 18 weeks, weighed 11.6 lbs. when he got his rabies vaccine this week. Joey is 16 inches at the shoulder, and Riley is 14 inches -- but Joey is a lot longer than Riley. They get along so well, and love to play together, fight together, etc. We got a fence put in (finally, after almost 14 years of having dogs), and they love running in the yard and playing. It is so funny to watch Joey pick up a huge stick, and Riley gets the other end, and they run all over the yard with it in their mouths! Riley is still much smaller than Joey, but he keeps up with Joey when they are running, and if Joey is getting ahead, then Riley latches onto his long hair with his mouth and keeps up that way!
Riley still rings the bell a lot to go out and pee, so we will be glad when he learns to hold it longer. But we put all 3 dogs down in their kennels between 9 and 10 at night, and they sleep all night with no problems with needing to pee until I get up and let them out between 7 and 8 the next morning.
Jim just took the first 2 pics this morning so you can see how they look now. The second two were taken the first of January. Riley's hair is still much shorter than Joey's, not sure if it will ever be as long as Joey's -- but they are both so handsome in their own way. Riley's hair is not as much of a leaf magnet as Joey's -- when Joey comes in from outside at this time of the year when we have all the leaves on the ground from all our trees, he looks like he has on one of those camo suits that are covered in leaves! Joey has a very happy go lucky personality, nothing phases him. Riley is still a bit skittish if he hears dogs barking or loud noises, especially when we are walking them. Joey could care less.
PetSmart is in love with these 2 when we take them. We have recently gotten a table and a grooming arm and hair dryer and will be grooming them as much as we can and just taking them to PetSmart occasionally. Now that they are past the "puppy bath and trim" stage, it's much more expensive! I also found some of the Plum Perfect shampoo at Bed Bath and Beyond. They only have one store in the Houston area that has the pet dept., so I was glad to find it.
Wish we could have room to have more of these wonderful dogs!! Thanks so much for raising such great dogs!! We have passed along your website info to many people!
Joyce, I wanted to share some pics of who we call Birdie and who’s given name completely eludes me. Kate something from your Carey Grant and Halle Berry about a year ago.
Anyway, our little Birdie is a joy and loved like a child here at the Williams household. Although she obviously has more shepherd gene than we excepted its not an issue. She runs and walks with my wife 4 or 5 times a week for around an hour and a half. She loves the woods and really loves everybody. The most affectionate dog we’ve ever seen. She’s also really smart and responds very well to training. We really love her and just wanted you to know she was doing well. Hope all is well in Florida and from your website it appears the kennel remains a big part of your life. Good on you for producing quality dogs.
Just wanted to check in and let you know that as we approach Friday's first birthday, we celebrate him every day. Friday is a sweetie! As you can see, he is adorable, too.
He has been a great brother to Enzo... the two are together playing all day. My youngest, Tabitha has "become a dog" and she considers Friday her best friend. Here she is doing a puzzle with him. It's nice to know that these two will be together for many years to come.
Thanks for everything... Friday has brought such joy into our lives.
Hi Joyce! Carmen is awesome!! She has adjusted so well. She and Lucy adore one another and play so well together. Carmen is so wonderful with the kids and cuddles up with us, or Lucy, to nap. She has almost mastered "sit" and is getting better with recall. She loves to play fetch and the kids have a blast with her. She is a total sweetheart! All the best
She got a puppy(yellow) and then adopted older dog 'Carmen'.
Joyce - I don't know if many of your buyers contact you after bringing their baby Aussie Doodle home, but I wanted to write and just say thank you so much for our little girl, Scout! As you can see by the attached photo, she is adorable and a furry ball of happiness. We receive so many comments about how sweet, clever and an all-around amazing puppy she is. Thanks again. She's been such a wonderful addition to our family.
We got Sydney "Syd" Elizabeth Charlotte Hunt (compromise with my 9 year old!) from you last Summer - she will be one on May 28th. Lauren (my now 10 year old) and I just adore her. All of my friends and family want to take her home with them! Her temperament and joy is infectious. She is 14lbs and 6 ounces and just a beautiful dog. Thank you so much for breeding such an amazing dog. Here is a recent picture of the three of us!
So, the boys (Porter (black and white) and Lager) are very much at home here on Long Beach. We've been using the book on how to train puppies in 7 days - and it works!! People can't believe how well-behaved the two are. They sit when told and have learned how to play in a non-agressive way. They are absolutely adorable and hilarious!
We can almost see Lager growing - in one day his nose moved away from his face and we could see his amazing blue eyes. He is so laid back. Porter is a little snuggler - and so smart!
They sleep and play together and couldn't be sweeter. We are so very happy to have them in our lives. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be taking them to the vet tomorrow for their next set of shots.
Here is a pic of the two from this morning.
All our best,
Vivien/Maverick littermates-smooth coated and wavy coated
Our Molly (Liza/Harry born 4/22/12) has reached her first birthday, and we wanted to let you know a little about her. She is a real beauty! She loves people and other dogs, maybe a little too much! She loves our 14 year old miniature Australian Shepherd but has a little too much energy for her at times. Molly has topped out at 18 pounds and is 14 inches tall at the shoulder. Her hair is very curly, but definitely non-shedding. She has become fascinated by lizards this summer, as is evidenced by one of the photos attached. She can spend hours outside searching for them. We moved to our north central Arizona home this past spring, and she very much enjoys spending time outdoors. Her face is full of so many expressions, we just laugh at her sometimes! She sleeps with us and her "Big Bear", a big stuffed animal that she picked out from numerous stuffed animals that we have. She brings him to bed each night and pulls him off the bed in the morning. She is very smart but has a mind of her own. She has a waddle and a strut when she walks that indicates she knows just how cute she is! We enjoy her very much and are grateful to have found her through you.
I thought you might enjoy this recent photo of two darling little girls...6 year old, Kate, our granddaughter and Kiwi. She is from the Wyatt/Liza litter and my hysband, Marty and I drove over from Jupiter right after Christmas to bring her home. She is just the best!!! little puppy ever and has been a joy. She weighed a little over 10 lbs last week at the vet's and we don't think she'll get a whole lot bigger. She has been easy to train and loves sleeping all night on our bed. In this photo she was having a sleepover at my daughter's house and was settling in there too for the night. Haha. Thank you so much for our wonderful puppy! Also, we wanted to know what shampoo you use on the puppies . The one we bought doesn't smell as nice as yours. Best to you. (Breeders note: Shampoo is 'Plum Silky'.)
I wanted I send you a quick update on my tri colored puppy. I have named him Hunter and he is the sweetest thing. Everyone stops me to tell me how cute he is, and asks what breed he his. I have found that a lot of people have never heard of this breed, and depending on shedding amount (her daughter is allergic) my vet would like a pup just like Hunter.
We have been to the vet twice and he is in perfect health. As of Wednesday he is 8 lbs 6oz, and growing fast! His house training is going along great only a couple of accidents and it only took him a few days to get used to sleeping in a crate at night. He has also started learning tricks!
I will send more pictures as he gets bigger and will keep you updated!
We hope all is well with you and your new location! I can only imagine how nice Florida must be! A reminder of who we are,Lisa Monaco and Paul Anderson. We purchased our sweetheart Ozzie Mae from you in March 2011. She's the offspring of Rita and Chisam's 1st born litter. Ozzie just celebrated her 2nd birthday!! At our last doctor check up she weighed in at 30 lbs. She is still a loving, cuddling, healthy, & playful pup! She loves playing with other pups in our neighborhood and family. In fact, our neighbor liked Ozzie so much that he recently purchased 2 brother Aussiedoodles from you, Hector and Cooper. They have all three become best friends around here! I've tried so hard to get a picture of the three of them together, but playtime does not allow for photo-ops! If/when that ever happens I'll be sure to send it to you haha. It's nice to see more aussiedoodles making the move all the way to Missouri! We wanted to send you an update on her and let you know we are still beyond in love with our little girl and look forward to always being a Pecan Place customer! Below are some updated photos
Hi Joyce, Hope you are doing well! Just wanted to send you a recent picture of our dog, Winston! Today he received his 4th set of shots including his rabies vaccine. He weighed 14.1 lbs!! Doc thinks he could weigh around 40 lbs judging by the size of his feet and wrists. He is really a sweet dog with a great personality. He is almost house trained and next week, we start puppy school! Just wanted to update you with a picture of him. It would be interesting if other owners could post pictures on Facebook from the various sets of dogs you've breed so we could see their siblings. I "tagged" you on one of my Facebook posts of Winston, but when I looked on your Facebook pages, it didn't show up.
Hope you are doing well and had a great Christmas break!!
Thank you, Becky
(Breeders note: Becky, don't know what happened on Facebook :-( but here you go for sharing.)
Merry Christmas, Joyce, to you and your family. As a surpise, I had portaits done for Al as a gift. We are fortunate to have one of the top animal photographers in the country live only about 1/2 hour away. She also has a boarding kennel and her husband trains hunting dogs. We had portraits of our last 4 dogs done by her, but unfortunately, it was after one was diagnosed with cancer. Again, the love these dogs have for us, and vice versa, is just amazing. Tiki body slams all 17 pounds of herself into me every night to cuddle for bed. We just got Karma another dog bed to place right next to the couch, since she has decided that sometimes she wants to be next to us there instead of in our laps on the couch. We never imagined that we would be little dog people, but we are totally smitten with our doodles. We are trying to plan a Florida trip next month to see friends and my son, and are hoping to stop and meet you and some of the dogs. We will let you know if we are able to get over there. I'm trying to work it out between co-worker's surgeries. We would love to be able to personally thank you for our beloved babies. We are sure that this is the only breed for us from now on. Hope you all had a great Christmas and wishess for a Happy New Year! Debbie, Al, Tiki, Karma, and Jake, the Handsome White Dog!
Hi Joyce Indy continues to be a great pet.... Now approaching 8 months. She is very sweet and smart and has found her place with ease in our home. I have given your contact info to Relma Miller who is my brother in law's legal partner in Salt Lake City UT Cheers
We wanted to give you an update on Einstein. He just had his 4 month check up and shots. He's a happy, healthy, energetic puppy, and we couldn't be happier to have him in our family. He has such a great, loving temperament. Right from the beginning, he has been so friendly to everyone he meets and always ready to play - sometimes a little too eager to play with other dogs (as most puppies are). Potty training is going reasonably well - he picked up on the concept very quickly. Thank you so much for everything you did to give this puppy a great start. Update on size. At his 4 month check up he was 15.2 pounds and still growing quickly! He's been gaining about a pound a week. I'm not sure how big he'll get, but I can keep you updated. Enjoy the pictures!
Hello Joyce, This is Cora, the Clint/Skylar female we picked up at your Illinois kennel on April 1 last year. She weighs about 26 pounds. She is so much fun. Sweet and affectionate, smart and playful. Also a wonderful sized dog with a great, soft coat. Thank you! Alison
I wanted to write and let you know how much I love my little boy Jaxson. He is amazing. He is the most loving dog I have ever had and so smart. He has already graduated level 1 puppy school and I will continue to work with them as he grows to be a therapy dog. He has the perfect temperament. He is growing fast - he is about 20 lbs and 16 inches tall. He has long legs (like me). He loves to snuggle and is so gentle with my niece's children. I couldn't have asked for a better companion. I am hooked! I just may have to have another! Here's recent picture:
Hi Joyce, just wanted to give you an update. The boys are getting bigger, Hektor is now 17.5lbs and Kooper is 15.5lbs. I wish I could bottle their energy. Except when they are in their kennels they are on the move constantly. They still haven’t met a stranger, human or dog and think everyone is their new best friend. They are very inquisitive and if I don’t watch them closely they get into everything. They love to grab the end of the toilet paper and unroll it and then tear it to shreds. Their appetites are good and I have not had any problems yet with diarrhea. They were neutered on this past Thursday and have to wear the cones until this coming Saturday. They are learning to navigate with them on. Kooper is a bit of a “Drama Queen” and has been crying a lot and trying to lick himself. Hektor is pretty much business as usual. I have a tandem lead for them and they are learning to work together. They know sit and that’s about it. They are great company and make me laugh, especially now with the cones on. They are head strong and each have their own unique personalities. I can no longer carry them both in my arms like at first, but for the most part have mastered the stairs(Kooper) balks some but when he knows he is getting a treat he comes running. They are still trying to figure out who is dominant and Kooper has not given in yet. They are a joy and everyone always comments on how cute they are and are surprised when they find out they are from the same litter.
Your new pups are beautiful and they will make their new families very happy as mine have made me. Its interesting watching them change before my eyes. I wish you well and thanks again. Oh! I will send pics when they slow down a bit so I can take a decent one.
Maya and Mosca-littermates to Pecan Place Barbra Streisand
It has been a long time since I updated you on Mosca and Maya. They are quite the pair. Very energetic and fun to be around. They are quite the lovers as well. Mosca is now the biggest by about 5 pounds but is much taller. Maya is no longer the dominant one but she loves to chase Mosca round the pool. They love to go to the bay and run along the water chasing each other and herding the other dogs. The bark a little too much for Kathy but they are getting better.
Thanks so much for helping us get two wonderful pups who are so much fun.
(Note from breeder...Bob I believe the reason they bark a little more than most of my pups is because you got both at once and because they have bonded with each other a little more than with their two-legged family. This is their own communication with each other.)
I just wanted to give you an update on Bailey's progress. Her training is going well and so far a stellar student. I have attached a couple of pictures if her training at CarePartners Rehabilitaion Center where I am currently a patient with my MS.
Hi Joyce, We hope you have enjoyed your first winter in Florida. Wanted you to see how Maggie is growing and how beautiful she is. She is 28 pounds and has stopped getting taller and started filling out more.Everyone loves her! We walk 2 to 4 miles every day and she goes to work with me. She is the smartest dog I have ever had and learns fast! Her favorite thing at the present time is to go through the house and steal towels from wherever she can find them and bring them all into one room! We love her! She loves to lay in my recliner with me whenever I sit down. Thank you for breeding such wonderful dogs! Best wishes to you and your family. Sandra Murphy, White House, TN
I hope you and your family are well. I still periodically look at your website and love to see the new pups!!
I wanted to send you an update on our beautiful girl Lily John Wayne( Chisum)/Audrey Hepburn born January, 2012. (I am so curious about the other pups from this litter!) and some pics and info you might post on the brag page.
We just LOVE her!! She has been such a great addition to the family. Lily has lost the small bits of copper streaks that she had as a puppy except for a bit of trim around her mouth. She is smart as can be and learns tricks very quickly. (Like opening her kennel!!). She was very quick to kennel train and still sleeps in it at night and uses it when we are away. My boys have taught her the common tricks to sit, roll over, shake, lay down, high five seriously in minutes. She is wonderful on a leash (and actually without too) My husband hasn’t started her jogging with him yet as the vet said we should wait until she was done growing. She loves to hike, adores the snow, camping, car rides etc. She absolutely loves the kids and is so sweet and gentle with everyone! She can jump higher that what you would think is natural?? We need to get her on the Frisbee in the spring….
I also wanted to touch on a few things for people that might read for clues about the breed as far as size, temperament, coat etc. as I did. Lily was born to be the “Moyen” size, is now a year old and is 17lbs and 18 inches high to shoulder. A bit smaller than I thought she would be but a great size. Her mother Audrey also looked to be slight? Lily looks bigger than she is for all the fur and these dogs are leggy. People are often surprised when they pet her as she is really slight and boney. Her width without the fur at the largest area of her rib cage is 18 inches. Her fur is soft, slightly wavy and fine. She does need to be brushed periodically as her hair will mat or knot slightly if not. (More so now that she is often wet in the snow, not as much in the warm months) but I am sure this is different with each pup. She does not shed except for when she is brushed. I think I lose more hair than she does. She RARELY barks. Sometimes when ruff-housing with the kids out side or if she is home alone with the kids she will bark a quick warning when we come in but she doesn’t bark at other animals or if someone comes to the door etc. which we are very happy about. (She NEVER barks at the yappy dogs next door. Not once) She has a very submissive personality which I am not sure if this is common for the breed or just her. This has caused some piddle issues and we have learned that we can’t greet her too hardily until after we have let her out. Again, I think this is more her personality and age, not breed. She is honestly the perfect combination of active and couch potato. She is totally happy to do whatever we are doing whether it be climbing a mountain or snuggling on the sofa.
We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this sweet dog and are so glad we found you Joyce and our darling Lily!!
I thought I'd share a photo of Arria with you. She really takes after the Aussie side (but with less shedding and the intelligence of the poodle), and I love it. People are always asking about her and commenting on her beautiful markings and fluffy ears.
She is a sweetheart and a very spoiled girl. She goes to the dog park and a 3 hour playgroup every weekday, in addition to 2 other long walks. Arria sleeps in the bedroom with me (she never did take to the crate, even after weeks of trying), but she usually stays in her bed on the floor. As I often work from home, she is usually to be found by my side on the couch or at my feet. She is so smart: I love the fact that I can really communicate with her. She seems to love having her photo taken -- she almost poses!
She has quite a palate! I've discovered that she likes grapefruit, avocado, apples, pears, lettuce with balsamic vinegar, sweet potato, and whole bunch of other healthy and yummy stuff. She also gets Orijen kibble, Weruva canned food, and Stella and Chewy's freeze dried food. All-in-all, I want to assure you that your puppy is happy and healthy here in Boston!
Well, our Bliss (you named her Pecan Place Meg Ryan), is now a little over a year old and doing great. I don't have exact measurements but I'd say she's a small Moyen (16 inches at the shoulder.)
She looks more Aussie than Doodle but that's ok by me. She's playful, obedient, athletic, lovable, and social. She's the perfect fit for our family. When you told us at 6 weeks old that she was playful and always had a toy in her mouth, you were right! She still loves her toys and is often bringing them to us for a game of catch or tug of war. She knows about 20 commands. She can catch a ball or frisbee jumping up in the air. And when she's been sufficiently tired out, she's a great napping buddy.
Thanks for a great dog! We are thinking about getting her a friend, but maybe we will get us a more laid-back, therapy dog personality! They can balance each other out.
These photos were taken of Seamus last month. He is grwoing beautifully and has a wonderful temperment. He goes crazy in hte snow and loves to be out in it. We are doing puppy classes with him as he is a very smart boy and loves the stimulation. He is not happy unless he is with other people or puppies, very social little guy. Thank you so much. I also wondered if you could send my a pictuer of his father hershey ? there are none of him on the webiste and I am interested to kno what he looks like, how tall he is and his adult weight. It would be great if you have one. Thanks again for a wonderful dog that we all adore and has fitted in beautifully with out family
I just wanted to let you know what a "hoot" Hobie has been....we are on vacation in Durango, CO visiting my sister and got 18 inches of snow in 3 days! It is my first snow with him, so I wasn't sure what to expect. HE LOVES IT!!!!! I've attached some pics of him with Milo, my goldendoodle and my sister's dogs. They have had a blast! Tomorrow we are going snowmobiling and they are coming with us. We've made a few practice runs on their property and he has done ok. He and Milo have fleece coats and vibram boots to protect their feet from the snowpack.
My sister knows a guy who has some buffalo and scored us some buffalo bones for the boys to chew on & needless to say they are a hit.
He is becoming a great traveler and getting past some of the shyness he had at first. I love him so much and so does Milo. They curl around each other on the bed and look like a swirl of vanilla and chocolate!
We'll keep in touch! Hope you and poochies are well.
We've only had Bliss a little over 2 weeks but we already know we have the best puppy ever! She's from the Maverick/Lauren litter. She's sweet, playful, and smart. In just one week with us she learned her name, how to ring a bell to go out, and to sit, shake, lie down, come, jump up, and go in her kennel (of course very motivated by treats). At 2 weeks with us she knows how to stay and go to her dog bed. We use the clicker training method. She even listens to my 10 year old daughter for these commands. She's doing well all night in her kennel and almost potty trained. We love her and so does everyone who meets her.
We wanted to update you on Ryder, born Sept 24,11 to Vivien/Wyatt. Here at 6 months old with is first haircut! He is around 12 lbs and 16 inches to the top of his head.
I want to thank you for the sweetest, smartest and most loveable dog I could ever find. He brings so much joy to our lives. With my allergys, I had to be careful when getting a dog, but I have no problem with Ryder! As for shedding, I do more then he does, lol. I tell everyone what a wonderful breed Aussiedoodles are. He loves kids and other dogs, so I can take him anywhere.
Thank you again for your careful and knowledgeable breeding pratices!
Our puppy, Browser, came from Joyce. We received him in September.
Let me say, first and foremost, that I know how nervewracking it can be to buy a puppy online. I've purchased three dogs from internet-sourced breeders, and my experience with Joyce has been excellent.
We'd been going through a rough time with our oldest dog, and we needed to find her a new home. It was a pretty emotional time, and I was trying to figure out if a new dog was a good idea or not. Though she knew that we were struggling with a very emotional decision, Joyce did not play upon our emotions (as she easily could) to force or even encourage a sale. She answered questions about blending a new dog into the family and offered suggestions, but she did not use high pressure tactics--that, to me, speaks of a breeder who is looking out for the best interests of the puppy.
Browser was the runt of the litter. In a litter of very small dogs, he was itsy bitsy. Rather than put his health at risk and get his tail docked with the other pups, she held off so he could use his energy getting strong rather than healing from a surgical procedure. That, to me, also speaks of a breeder who looks out for the puppy's best interests. Because he was a bit on the puny, weak side, Joyce didn't take a downpayment on my particular pup until she was sure he was strong and healthy enough--which spoke to her interest in the buyer (not getting attached to a puppy who isn't going to make it).
She helped me get adequate transportation from her home to mine when I had some issues getting off of work to pick him up. She was warm and receptive to my questions and concerns in general, and interested in making sure that we were updated on our puppy's growth and personality development. She even made sure that we got photos of him in his favorite (dopey) sleeping position.
His demeanor is excellent. He's small, but fearless. He's loving and interested in keeping in the middle of things (not always the best, but he means well). He plays well with our other dog, too.
He's won the hearts of the entire family; he's got a mellow personality of a much bigger dog, but in the wonderfully more portable package. I would get another dog from Joyce without hesitation
Hi Joyce! It's been a busy few weeks, and we are thoroughly enjoying our little man. We named him Rocky, for his coloring and also because we live on Rocky Cay Court. He is growing like a weed - now over 12 lbs - and is learning his training really well. He has mastered sit, come here, and down, so long as he's not distracted ;) We are ready to start puppy classes!
I'm attaching a pic for you of his first day home and one from last week, just for fun. Thanks for a great dog. He is bringing us lots of joy.
I became curious after reading your email and measured Maurice. If I did it correctly, to his shoulder, he stands 17". Since he was born 12/1/12 he is now 9 months old. I didn't expect that he would grow much taller but he might fill out some more. He is such a great companion. As you know, everyone I introduce him to wants their very own Aussiepoo. My son and his wife bought "Luna" and she is adorable, my friend who I met when we bought our Boxerdoodles just got her puppy from you in the end of July. He is a pistol!! I think my sister-in-law is considering getting a puppy from you as well. We are quickly building up a NM family branch!! None of us are breeders though so there won't be new little poo's being born here from your kennel! The fun thing is that all these dogs get to play with one another! Luna visits Maurice every other week and Dana and I trade babysitting chores when we are out of town!
This is Bailey on the Left and Oliver on the Right. There dad is wyatt we are not for sure who there moms are. they are from different litters Bailey was born on january 10th 2010 his mom was black and white i belive you sold her. Oliver was born on may 27th 2010 he was the runt of the litter.
Bailey is my dog he lives in michigan with me and Oliver is my moms dog he live in florida most of the year with her. When they get to see each other they go crazy play all the time.Oliver is still the runt only weighing 8 pounds bailey weighs 16 pounds. they both love to travel on planes with us when we go back and forth to florida and michigan perfect flyers. Oliver is very vocal barks at little noices but is a big cuddler when he is tired and likes to run around and play and loves my mom. Bailey is not vocal at all only if someone comes to the door he cuddles any time loves to play and always follows close to me all the time.
Also my mom is looking for another little one. she wants a girl this time small like oliver. we were looking at your planned litters one that is due september 27th with wyatt again as there dad.
Bailey and Oliver-both F1 Flower/Wyatt and Margaurite/Wyatt
Ranger with his best friend. His tolerance of the toddler is definitely his best quality. You would think he would at least avoid the child who lays on him, pulls his fur, shakes his back feet, and crawls into his crate with him, but not really. This helps us to forgive Ranger when he does things like eat the face off the thomas the tank engine birthday cake I spent several hours making and decorating
Mille turned one yesterday and is a real sweetheart! She still has her black coat which we love and she keeps her 9 year old lab "sister", Kari, active. She is spoiled rotten but has a great disposition! We couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family!
I hope your breeding is going well to add more wonderful puppies to other families.
We thought it would be a good time to send you another update on our wonderful little girl Cayenne (Out of Cyd X Nic). She just had her 7 month birthday and she is doing amazingly. She has gotten fairly big now, she has reached about 18 inches tall and is right around 25 lb. She has been the most amazing puppy we have ever seen, with the most amazing and sweet temperament, she continues to love to play when it is play time and somehow just knows when it is time to relax and take things easy. As I said before you can absolutely tell how much care you have put into breeding these dogs by the way that she has turned out. Everyone we meet still likes to stop and ask all sorts of questions about her and what she is, it has gotten to the point where even a quick walk around the block means stopping for all the neighbours to come and say hi and pet her soft hair.
Last time we emailed you she was in her puppy classes and doing great, she did so well in fact that the school accepted her early into her level one obedience and she has now graduated and has her Level one obedience certification. It is awesome to see her focus during tasks and even the instructor always had praise for how well she kept focus. She now knows all of her basic commands and can stay for up to 30 min. in Sit, Down or Stand.
We have been so impressed with this breed and your breeding program that we have already had discussions as to when we are going to get another puppy from you. We are probably going to wait for a little while but I don't know how long we will last, she is just so much fun.
Thank you again for this wonderful dog,
P.S. I have included the same photos as the first e-mail since your website says you lost some during the move, I have also sent some new ones as well. Feel free to post any of them if you want.
Penny is going great! Would love to hear how your tri female from this litter is doing and how big she is now. I think Penny is probably about 10+ lbs at this time. Also, very interested in the Tom Hanks breeding, he is my favorite of yours.
I hope all is well with you, the family and the pups. I wanted to let you know Kiwi (daughter to James Garner/Lauren Bacall) is doing FANTASTIC! She is the smartest dog I have ever known and is drop-dead gorgeous. She weighs 23lbs to date. I can't thank you enough for all you do, you are the best at what you do and have given me the best friend I could ever ask for.
Our Aussie Doodle, Winnie is thriving as an agility dog. This portrait is being used in advertising for the training center we use. Last month Winnie joined our other dog Wallace in our weekly novice training class and she often turns in faster and more accurate times than Wallace, who has been training 18 months longer.
Winnie is the offspring of Greta and Phoenix, born June 2011.
Here's a quick Junior update: As you can see, he's a big beautiful boy! We start intermediate dog training class today. He graduated from the beginner class with flying colors.
He can come when called, look, sit, lay down, shake, high five, stay, leave-it, take-it, play possum, and "relax" (which means he puts his head down when in the down position). Sometimes I wonder which one of us is being trained. Junior is one smart guy! He's also very sweet and loving. It cracks me up when he sees me brushing my teeth at night, he puts himself to bed.
I hope everything is going well with you. Please tell Mae hello from us...she should be very proud of Junior.
Take care...Lisa UPDATE 4-10-11 Hi Joyce. Thought you'd like to know that Junior is doing great. He is nearly 40 lbs now and, as you can see, has absolutely no idea he's 1) large and 2) a dog. We absolutely love him! We're in the advanced obedience training now and Junior's as eager to learn new tricks as ever. This week he learned to wave hello. He loves children and is always willing to show them how smart and entertaining he can be...such a show-off! Hope everything is going well with you.
Just wanted to let you know again how thrilled we are with this dog. I can’t think of anything that she does that we don’t like. The only time she barks is when we use the central vac. She chases the wand and lets out an occasional yip. She never barks when someone comes to the door which is a blessing because our house is like Grand Central.
She has never snipped at any of the 10 grandkids. Believe me, she has had ever reason to!!! When we go outside, she never runs off even if she hears something unusual. She just looks back at me to make sure I heard it too!
When we take her in the vehicle, she just sits on my lap very peacefully. When we go into the store and come back out, she is in the exact same place watching for us.
We just had another two days of snow. From listening to other people with little dogs, I thought I’d have to drag her out there to do her thing. I can’t get her to come back in. She bounces all over and runs these figure eights. Funniest thing to watch! She was out there having so much fun in about a foot of snow that I had to give her a bath when she came in because she had balls of snow stuck to her that I could not get off of her quick enough. Even her bath is a pleasure.
Hello this is kenzie and I bought my puppy from you on Friday!
I just wanted to let u kno that she is loving her new home very much and she is the sweetest little girl.We named her satie. She is probly the best puppy I have ever had. She has had no accidents in the house since we got her and she loves our other dog.She is such a fast learner, she learned her name the next day. Im very pleased with her. I just wanted to say thank you very much and let you kno that she is doin really well.
An occasional throwback multigen, looks Aussie but does not shed
Hi Joyce! Well its been a little over a year now since ive purchased Sadie from you. She is doing great. She topped out at 15 pounds and she is the best dog EVER! I love her so very much. She travels more than any dog i know. Never have i left the house without her! She loves to cuddle up and go for rides all the time. She has so much natural ability its amazing. She has been helping us on the farm herding horses from pasture to pasture and is doing great. Its scary for me tho becuz i do love her so much. Every horse that she gets close to makes me cringe! She has also learned to ride behind me on the horses. She is just so smart and trusting i cant believe it! I have really feel in love with this bred and i look at all the new puppys hoping that i will be able to purchase another i just cant tlk my boyfriend into purchasing another lol. but i will be back for several more eventually lol. Sadie minds so well. She does have a little seperation anxiety that worrys me. She just screams every time i have to leave without her, it breaks my heart. Otherwise she is just perfect! thank you so much!! She is no doubt my best friend and very spoiled.
My wife and I wanted to update you on GretBlkMale which we picked up from American airlines at Newark on 4th November. His name quickly became Ozlo as per our daughter's idea. We have a thing for things Norwegian and this name seemed to suit him from the get-go. We all love him profoundly and he seems to return that sentiment. He has fit in with dignity and pride and of course the silly goofiness of a puppy. He is intelligent and has tuned himself in to the goings on of this family. Also, I swear he is trying to talk sometimes and I don't mean barking. He looks at us and makes this singing noise in order to make some need understood and it works.
Last week at the vet he was weighed at 14.5 pounds and it seems like he is another lb. or so larger by now.
He loves it here in the country. He has been to NYC twice and definitely seems happier here in Buck's county, PA.
Thank you again for the right things that you did for him from the start.
We are having a blast with our Aussie Doodle, Winnie who is one of Gretta’s pups from last summer. She is getting some more dark brown markings including eye brows. We’ve had her in puppy classes and intermediate obedience training where she earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen Award.
Here is our Christmas Picture with her “big brother” Wallace, (2 year old cockapoo).
We recently bought a female Aussiedoodle from you - Griffon x Greta DOB Sept 3. We absolutely love this wonderful little girl. We have named her Stella - Never have we seen such a sweet, loving disposition on a dog. She is now 7 months old and not a day goes by that we don't say what a good decision we made in getting her. The reason I am emailing is that we would love to get a companion for her. We had two schnauzers previously so we know the benefits of having two dogs grow old together. We spotted the little "Smokey" boy from Wyatt & Judy's litter. What a sweetheart. (remainder was edited out just for privacy)
I see that you posted my mom's note to you about the puppy I got for them in July, Metu (formerly Jet). I thought you might want a picture of the brothers together. Feel free to upload to your site. Metu (black) lives in Western New York, and Neko (blonde) lives in Connecticut--but they get together often, probably 4 or 5 times so far this past year.
All you have to say to Metu is, "Where's Neko?" and he's up on his feet looking around for his brother. =) They are such super sweet dogs, full of energy, have a wonderful disposition, are very smart, and have added so much to our family.
I often visit your website to keep tabs on what new puppies you have. Whenever I move out of my condo into a house, I will add another one of your puppies to the family!
I hope all is well!
Your Jet, our Metu is thriving, growing like a weed and much loved. His fur is as soft as a kittens. He has thee sweetest personality, loves everybody and is very much part of our little family. He loves the water, is full of beans but is such a good boy. When we take him out for a walk, give him a stick to carry and he walks with his head held high as if he was carrying the crown jewels. He "helped" me shuck corn this morning and is more than willing to carry whatever he can get hold of....socks are a favorite! He is so quick. Drop a paper on the floor and he's got it before you can even begin to grab it first.
We have rarely left him alone in his crate but when we do and return, he is so full of wiggles, licks, little whines and smiles. We crate him at night and he sleeps all night without a sound since the second night he came to our home. Our two cats have adapted quite well to his being here, although not happily. Whatever room we are in, he's there too. He has the run of the house except the bathrooms because he loves to pull the toilet paper off the rolls. He's a rascal for sure.
We spent a few days visiting Tim and Cris and their girls, and Neko is so much quieter than Metu. The brothers played, chewed on each other, chased and romped for hours. The only grumbles/growls came when one tried to take the other's food. You did such a wonderful job socializing the puppies with children. They are Metu's favorite people.
Well, I won't go on any longer but did want to let you know what a joyful puppy we have in our home. He sure seems to be a happy little dog now weighing 15 pounds. Hoping you have a very enjoyable vacation.
How are you doing? I'm sending you some pictures of "Maya" out of Audrey/Clark. She's doing very well and we're so lucky to have her in our lives. She's all that we could ever have hoped for, she is truly special. Her personality is the best, very sweet, intelligent, loving, a "Daddy's Girl". She loves to jump and retrieve her "squeeky ball." At one time she was jumping and jumping with my husband and a passerby said "look at the flying dog!" She amazes us that she can jump up to our barstools and up to our kitchen island...... We caught her munching on a roast one day while we were eating in the living room. Thanks so much for everything and I hope to get another Aussiepoo one day, maybe a miniature male???? I'll keep in touch and see what is available on your website. Take care.
Hello! I wanted to send you a picture I took today of my boy, Jamie. He is now 5 1/2 months old and weighs in at 30 lbs. Everybody that sees him asks me if he's an irish wolfhound! Jamie just finished his puppy education classes and will start intermediate classes in May. He's so smart and picks up new commands so quickly. He's definitely bouncy (just like Whoopee on your website, must run in the family!) and I can foresee him doing agility someday. Jamie is my constant shadow and is attached to me at the hip! He has such a funny personality and always keeps me on my toes. I'll keep you posted as my little "wolfhound" grows. :)
P.S. I think I'll have to get Jamie a kiddie pool just like the one in Whoopee's picture. She looks like she's having a blast!
all is great. harlee fits in perfectly. eats plays naps well. loves being outside so potty training is easy. vet said all is well and weighs 2.6 lbs . growing more every day. she is smart and has made a trip to work with me already. everyone is impressed with her. very well balanced puppy and she is bringing us great joy thanks
Hi, Joyce. Thought I'd send a couple pics for your brag page. We are so smitten with our little Tiki (Grace/Clark 4/10), that we couldn't wait to get another Grace puppy. Tiki is the smartest, sweetest, most loving pup we've ever had, and has turned me completely into a "little dog" person! All of my veterniary co-workers are just as in love with Miss Tiki Monster. Not a day goes by that we don't stop whatever we're doing just to watch and laugh at our little girl. I've never seen such a toy obsessed dog. We have to buy the super sized tennis balls, since she insists on trying to roll/push any toy under the furniture. Surgery last month for her knee didn't slow her down, and she's recovering well. I love going to your website to check on the puppies, adults, and owner photos. Keep up the good work. We'll send more pics after the "puppy with no name" arrives. We can't wait!! By the way, I'm greeted every time I come home with a huge smile and a butt-twist from Tiki! Hope sis smiles, too.
Only thing more fun than having one Aussiedoodle is having two...here is Tiki's sister.
So, the vet's crystal ball prediction today was that Darcy has a little more filling out to do (maybe 3 lbs), but she doesn't think he's going to get any taller. Today he was 20lbs... but then they removed testes & a few teeth so he might be down to 19 or so depending on how much the microchip weighs... lol!
Oh, I wanted to see if I could trade him in for something a little more plain black colored. Not phantom like Loki; solid, plain black. Why? Well, it's getting a little ridiculous to take him out in public because of all the staring & pointing, etc. I can't take him anywhere! Yesterday on our way to the park a lady stopped us & commented that he was THE CUTEST DOG SHE HAD ever SEEN! She by the way was holding a toy poodle while she said it! Ridiculous! He is seriously out of control!
Hello, Sorry it has taken us so long to send you an updated photo of Ozzie. She is now 15 weeks and doing GREAT! She gets along great with ALL the dogs in my family and loves to play. She can already sit, shake, lay down, and we're currently working on rolling over. :) She is also housebroken. She is all up to date on her booster shots and will get the last one at the beginning of July. She is at an estimated healthy 7 lbs.
My family owns a dance studio and dance wear shop. I love taking her to work with me and she loves all the little dancers! She is so good at work with me and either stays behind the counter in the shop or snuggles up in our staff room. Whenever I don't bring her to work all the kids are so sad!
We could not be more pleased with our choice to get Ozzie. You made the process so easy and raised a lovely, loving puppy for which we could not be more happy. I constantly have people asking me what type of dog she is and hardly anyone has heard of Aussiedoodles. I'm putting in a good word for you and your farm. I've told everyone (especially studio families) who are interested to contact me and I would pass along your information. Again, Paul and I cannot thank you enough for this little girl who has stolen our hearts!
Ozzie Mae-Rita/Chisum Multigen girl
15 weeks old
I wanted to send you an update on Ozzie Mae.
Ozzie is now 7 1/2 months old. She is still as playful and loving as ever. She enjoys playing with her cousin dogs all day long, running around in the yard and she's recently added swimming in our pond to her interests haha. She still enjoys coming to work with me and getting lots of love from my dance students. We had Ozzie spayed about 2 months ago and the process went smoothly and she healed great. Ozzie had a few moments of rebellion at the groomers and finally she now goes in and comes out with a great report! As you can see she's been recently and still has her feather in her hair. Paul and I are still beyond in love with Ozzie and we think it's so special we got the only pup in her litter without blue eyes. :) We recently followed your site to see the new Rita litter and wanted another already! haha Of course we had to refrain from the temptation! They were all so precious! We hope all is well with your farm and plan to keep you updated on Oz as much as we can! Thanks again for this precious gift.
Hi Joyce Sam is loving Gigi. She's been great. She's already going to the back door when she needs to go outside. I took her to the vet Friday. I'm mailing the invoice tomorrow. The vet loved her too. Thanks again
Ranger got a MAJOR haircut today and he is a different color now! Didn't really want him this short, but oh well, it will grow back. He ways a little over 23 lbs now and seems to be full grown. We are taking a tricks class with him right now. He LOVES going to school and learns anything very quickly. Still a bit on the naughty side - likes toilet paper a lot. I think that is actually because he is so smart and gets bored. I just looked on your website for the first time in a long time and see Ranger and Luke on there which is fine - just wanted to point out that Rangers dad was Cooper, not Phoenix. (see photo above)
couldn't download new photo as they must be sent to me in .jpg form for me to upload...thx
I just wanted to let you know that Tyler is doing great. He's full of energy, curiosity and very out-going. Love him to death! He's been coming to work with me every day and has been meeting people all day long. His potty training is coming along very nicely.
The Tibbies (her resident Tibetian that preceded her AD) are more tolerant of him right now than the poodles, but that doesn't surprise me. They're just not sure what to do with him yet. :)
We did take him to our vet on Monday. I have the report, but can't seem to find it. I'm going to look when I get home from work so I can scan it and send it to you.
Joyce, I am sorry I haven't sent you an email before now. This little puppy is AMAZING! She is more than I dreamed! Of course I know there will be ups and downs, but she is the sweetest little thing and so darn smart. She has had one accident inside and whines and goes to the door already! She fetches, sits, comes and lays down on command! She is quickly learning not to play-bite or lick. She is loving and cuddly and so good with the grandkids. She is great in her crate and sleeps all night without having to go outside. She jumps and twirls and is calm with bathing and brushing and nail clipping. She is too young to have been trained so well and yet it seems she came that way. She is eating great, and Vet gives her an excellent health report. I cannot say enough about how delighted I am with her. Thank you for being the expert, caring, devoted breeder that you are. I am already thinking of another Aussiedoodle in about a year, and I KNOW where I will get her or him from. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! (watch for my brags on your web site ) Note from me, Joyce. She could not wait a year and now has a second doodle to keep her busy. This note is about a Thelma/Chisum girl who is a sister/littermate to Slider (pictured below) Hope all is going well and waiting for photos of your 'girls'. Joyce
Just wanted you to see how big Slider is! I swear, he is the sweetest dog ever. If you ever need a reference for this breed, we would be happy to talk to someone! I commented to steve tonight how when you kiss him, he won’t even lick your face back. He is completely trained not to open his mouth on people… for six months (tomorrow), I think it is pretty amazing.
I'm attaching the contract along with the receipt from her first vet appointment. (Sorry to delay in getting this back, but it has been a bit crazy around here with a new puppy in the house and the holidays approaching so quickly.)
I wanted to also give you an update on our little girl. We have named her Calla Lily--but call her Cali. She is WONDERFUL!! First visit to the vet on 12/6 her weight was 2 lbs 11 oz and on her second visit for her boosters on the 13th she was 3 lbs 2 oz. The vet and staff were in awe of her cuteness, in fact one of the girls in the office tried to steal her from me! LOL!!
Cali integrated with our family very quickly, she loves everyone and everyone loves her, including our Daisy who is 5 years old (Daisy is a german shepherd/border collie mix and is one of the most loving dogs we have ever owned) but has not had much experience with small dogs. They play wonderfully together and run all over the yard chasing each other, taking the ball from each other and just being happy. Cali is eating very well! She is a bit of a grazer but she knew where her bowls were located just hours after bringing her home. She loves the outdoors and would most likely stay out there all day if I would let her. I'm not ready to let her out on her own yet so she is always chaperoned when outside playing. She is learning commands such as Come, Let's go Potty, Sit, Lay Down, etc. and she is now going to the door on her own to go outside to do her business. She sleeps with us but is kenneled if we have to leave the house for an hour or so without any complaining. She wakes me up in the middle of the night still to go out and use the bathroom. She is becoming independent and will actually lay down on her own on the couch or chair, whereas when she first came home she just wanted to be held during nap time.
Little Cali has brought so much joy to our house and we laugh every day at her antics. She hides behind pillows, under blankets, in corners and waits for Daisy to find her. It is quite funny. I don't know if I told you but we lost our 14 year old Chocolate Lab in August and there was a hole in all of our hearts. Cali will never replace Buddy but she will be loved just as much. Daisy weighs 65 pounds and although Cali is just at 3 she doesn't know it! She is definitely a sweet, sweet girl. She gives lots of puppy kisses and when someone comes in our door she's the first one there to see who it is. She's had a bath and did very, very well!
I will keep you updated with her progress and will send a picture soon. Thanks again so much! I would certainly recommend you as an awesome breeder of aussiepoos and would not hesitate to purchase from you again.
Thought maybe you'd like an update on the beautiful Blue Merle girl (Judy/Wyatt) we bought from you on the November 26th.
Bindie Rae Cooper is doing great. She is growing so fast. We get lots of comments on how beautiful she is. Bindie is definitely hyper. She loves playing with her toys, biting Dreaka's tail, and chewing on her rope. She absolutely loves the snow and would stay out there all day if we'd let her. When she's outside, she never leaves Dreaka's side. They are Best Friends for sure.
I think she just felt right at home when she got here. She is without a doubt, a Daddy's girl. She loves her daddy and likes to fall asleep in his arms. We have some bows for her hair, and she will only wear them if he puts them in. She likes to sleep in the laundry basket that we have in our room. I guess she finds it cozy in there. At about 1 in the morning, every morning, she starts barking for us to let her outside. She has had a couple accidents in the house, but she is learning very well. She knows her name, too.
I just wanted to tell you how much we appreciate everything that you have done for us. Bindie is truly a blessing to our home and we are grateful that she is here with us now. I will be sure to keep you updated as she keeps growing.
All's good! Arrived on time. Very tentative about the new everything when we got her. But now that we're home and all introductions are well done, and of course a chow-down, everone's happily hanging out on the master bed! She seems to have bonded quickly to me. I love it when she paws me to tell me to keep skricthing! (scratching)
Hi Joyce, just wanted to get an email off to you and update you on Bella at 3 - 1/2 months. She is growing quickly and is quite the smart girl. She was totally housebroken about a month ago (I trained her to ring a bell at the front door and over the holidays traveled to several friends homes taking the bell with me. Not one accident in anyone's house). Next Wednesday she receives the last of her immunizations so we will be able to start taking long walks together to relieve some of her energy. Anyway, thought I would let you know she is doing great and is very well loved in her new family.
I am sorry that I have not sent you Jingle's vet records. I have attached the two last appointments. The first was on December 12 and the second was January 9th. The vet just gave me the Certificate of Vaccination the other day.
I am so glad I got her. She is doing great and growing. As of Monday she is 6.4 pounds. She has alot of toys and plays alot. Tomorrow she begins doggie daycare. I know she will love it and have fun.
I have also enclosed her first Christmas picture.
Jingle will be spayed in March. I will send you the paperwork after the surgery.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I’m just giving you an update on Bogi because he’s pretty special to me. I’ve only had him for a month or so, but it seems like he’s been with us forever. He just turned 4 months. He is the smartest dog ever! He learns things the first time around. He fetches, sits, downs!, learning to stay & heel, sneezes on command, speaks, rolls over & gives me 5! He follows me everywhere, he loves people, kids, dogs, etc., he has never torn up or destroyed anything! He hides his favorite toys so good, I have trouble finding them. The sky is the limit to what this dog can learn. He’s a joy to own, I’m sure glad I found him, he’s a doll
Megan is now 4 1/2 months old. She has made herself at home as you can see in the photo. The two older dogs have accepted her as a playmate and sometimes as their puppy. She is very smart and very loving. We really appreciate your care in breeding. Regards, Jim and Peggy
Megan-Liz/Hershey multigen female
Good morning Joyce,
I wanted to give you an update on THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD!
Wesley is doing amazing! Potty training has been great and he is 99% trained. We are continuing to go on hikes on the weekends, and I think Wes actually knows when we are going :) He gets so excited!
He loves the kids so much. He looks forward to waiting for the school bus in the morning with Landon and then waiting for the school bus to drop Landon off at home in the afternoon. The kids are his favorite, but I have to admit that when I come home from work, he has a special whine and tail wag especially for me :) My little love bug.
The vet thinks he is going to be close to 20 lbs. Right now he is 13 lbs and growing like a weed :) His puppy teeth are starting to fall out and the adult teeth are coming in. I have no problems brushing his teeth and baths are a breeze! Even blow drying is going well.
Dear Joyce, I just wanted to give you an update on CoCo. She is the best dog I have ever had, I absolutely adore her. I bring her to work with me most days since school just let out so she gets lots of attention and is adored by our Superintendent , thus she is at work with me. Next week she will be spayed, I have had her Micro chipped and all of her shots are current. I almost had to wrestle with my vet to get her out of the office, everyone loves her because she is so cute and sweet. She just had her second grooming, I am keeping her fairly short. It's funny how her coat has and continues to change. I see some lighter spots developing on her hind quarters with brown spots showing up on all four legs. She has such a great gentle nature, she plays well with other dogs of all sizes. I most pleased with how gentle she is with my young cousins, I wanted her to be well rounded and she really is. CoCo loves the ocean, she just runs herself ragged chasing the sea gulls. She did take a dip in Lake Winnipesauke last week, she fell off the dock! We continue to be amazed at her jumping, it is so funny to see this little (15inches) dog spring off the floor a good couple of feet.
I just thought you might like to see how one of your pups is progressing. We think he looks a little more Shepard. He's 5 1/2 months old, weighs about 21 lbs., his fur is lustrous and is as smart as they come. He's super social and very very well behaved. We live in Philadelphia and when walking him people are always asking about him or fussing over how cute he is. This is a photo from his first visit to the ocean. As with any new adventure he loved it! Hope all goes well in the breeding world. All the best
We have been quite well. I wanted to give you an update on our sweet Wesley. As you can see in the picture, Wesley had a visit with our favorite groomer and is sporting his summer cut. He seems to be happier with the shorter cut, as we are continuing to hike and the heat has been unbelievably hot here in MD! We plan on taking him kayaking with us too. We loved his markings and color before his grooming, but are even more in love with how beautiful he looks shaved down. He is such a handsome boy and everyone whom he meets agrees.
Wesley was neutered yesterday. He did amazing and is recovering quite well. Wesley currently weighs 16 lbs. The vet continues to think he will top off around 20 lbs.
Wes is such a snuggle bug and loves the kids. He has made friends with the neighborhood Great Dane and Pekingese. He is 100% potty trained (actually has been for a couple months) and is able to roam the house with no problems. He seems to have chose me as his "person" and follows me around everywhere I go. He loves to snuggle up on the couch with us and is content to sleep with us on our bed or on his bed in our bedroom. Wes has so much fun loving energy and fits into our family perfectly. We love him so much!
We are going to visit my parents in NY soon and it will be Wesley's first real road trip. We are too excited! I will send more pics in a couple months to show you how much fun we have this summer.
Thanks again for our sweet Wesley. He truly is a joy!
Hope you are well! I wanted to send a note and a picture for your brag section on your blog. This weekend it will be one year since we had the pleasure of adding little Codie to our family. Words cannot express how much we love him. He has completed our family is so many ways. He has such an easy going personality, he is always happy and upbeat. And I have never seen him be aggressive with another dog or child. He loves everybody and is super friendly. He is the perfect size too! He's about 42lbs now and is all muscle. He makes a good little wrestling partner for our 6 year old. They have become the best of buds. Thank you so much for the gift of our Codie Bear.
